Description

Description

This circuit takes you between Alsace and Lorraine while remaining in the heart of the Vosges mountains. From Schirmeck, you ride quietly up the Bruche valley through the former lands of the principality of Salm, then you pass on the Lorraine side through the Hantz pass to reach Moussey. The route then takes the direction of the old "Sentier des Passeurs" which linked the occupied Alsace (from the place called Salm) to Moussey during the Second World War. You come back to the Alsatian side and cross the Donon pass, before going down by the Framont valley to Schirmeck. View map
