Colloque – L’art dans le complexe concentrationnaire de Natzweiler

Natzwiller

Description

How do you produce art in a concentration camp?
Through presentations by historians, researchers and artists, this international symposium explores the place of art as an act of survival and resistance in the Nazi concentration camp universe.
For three days, come and discover the works created by deportees from the Natzweiler camp and its kommandos: drawings, sculptures, writings, music... A sensitive and historic plunge into the heart of a little-known part of the deportation.
Friday 26/09 from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm and Saturday 27/09 from 8.45 am to 5.45 pm at the Cercle mixte militaire in Strasbourg, then Sunday 28/09 from 9 am to 3 pm at the CERD in Natzwiller.
