For this year’s edition, the Scènes Sauvages Festival welcomes the Théâtre du Peuple to kick off the festival with the show “Hériter des brumes,” episodes 1 and 2!
It’s the story of a troupe, made up of contemporary actors and actresses, who attempt to recreate the journey of the Théâtre du Peuple, more than a century after its founding. It is a quest to understand what a utopia is and what a utopia can mean for us today. It features many friendships and passions; ghosts, two world wars, the village of Bussang; love stories, family stories, countless crises, countless reconciliations; trees, landscapes… and performances—many, many performances. Commissioned by Julie Delille, artistic director of the Théâtre du Peuple since 2024, the production features a cast blending professional and amateur performers. It serves as a meeting point, a convergence, between the past and the present. View map
